All of our students are sophomores or above at accredited undergraduate colleges and universities, and must have approval from a faculty sponsor to participate in our program.

Get Support

 A designated TWC site relations coordinator is your guide throughout the selection process and during the internship.

Set a Schedule

D.C.-based interns are expected to work 32-36 hours/week, while virtual interns can work 20-36 hours/week.

Supervise and Evaluate

Provide a designated supervisor for the intern. The supervisor will guide the intern throughout the term and provide a final evaluation.

Provide a Quality Experience

Assign students substantive work or quality projects. Hold regular check-ins and guide their professional development.

Smart

The average GPA of our students is 3.5, and they represent a variety of majors.

Diverse

36% of our students come from racially/ethnically diverse backgrounds, and 26% are first-generation college students.

Engaged

Students earn academic credit from their schools for participating in TWC Programs.
